Dr. Ivan Ninov

Executive Dean

 

  • Dr. Ivan Ninov is the Executive Dean of Stenden University of Applied Sciences in Qatar, which is the premier university for hospitality and tourism management education in the country. It offers Bachelor degrees in International Business, Tourism Management, and International Hospitality Management. In addition to this the university also offers Master degrees in International Leisure, Tourism, and Event Management and in International Hospitality and Service Management.

    Prior to joining Stenden Qatar, Dr. Ninov served as Assistant Dean at the Emirates Academy of Hospitality in Dubai, where he developed and implemented the university’s exemplary Quality Assurance system and was in charge of overseeing and managing the MBA programme.
    Dr. Ninov has a wealth of international academic and managerial experience, having lived and worked in Europe, the United States, and the Middle East. Dr. Ninov’s main areas of expertise are Strategic Management and Quality Assurance. He has been involved in supervising numerous research and consultancy projects, and has also been recognized as a researcher within his field. In addition to this he serves as a reviewer for research journals, conferences, and other academic publications.

    Dr. Ninov holds a Ph.D. degree in Hospitality Administration and an MSc degree in Restaurant, Hotel, and Institutional Management from Texas Tech University in the USA. He also holds an MSc and a BSc degree in Tourism from Sofia University in Bulgaria.
